PROJECT // WILLOW HOUSE
LOCATION // CITY CENTRE, NORWICH, NORFOLK
TYPE // RESIDENTIAL
Currently the site is a side garden of an existing detached city centre dwelling and due to the surrounding newer development forms a disjointed street frontage.
This infill site serves to enable both a new city centre family home with live/work potential and create a more coherent urban architecture. This results in a neat slot of contemporary building. The palette of materials relates to the surroundings with the use of brick and timber and incorporates texture and colour through their innovative use.
The Norwich Society described the application as “..the design is pleasing as it completes the streetscene with aplomb.”
